Royals fans want to see Kate Middleton at the Wimbledon tournament.
[post_ads]The Duchess of Cambridge is still on maternity leave. However, royal fans are hoping that she will watch Wimbledon and make an appearance at the event with her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. According to Harriet Mallinson, a journalist for Daily Express, a number are hoping to see a "Cambridge-Sussex double date" at the Wimbledon.
There are speculations that Middleton will be there. "With Federer and Serena playing back-to-back I think we may get a Kate-Meghan outing to see the last two matches," one Twitter user wrote. "Or a possible full Cambridge-Sussex double date. Harry's not a tennis guy but they did come to his polo."
The Duchess of Cambridge is a self-confessed tennis fan. In fact, she revealed that when she was heavily pregnant with Prince George in 2013, she requested her doctor to allow her to watch the final match. Unfortunately, his answer was "definitely not."
Middleton also confessed that prior to joining the royal family, she used to spend hours lining up just to get a ticket for Wimbledon. She considered being part of it as "special."
"Being able to go into Wimbledon and be part of an amazing atmosphere is special," Middleton said. "It inspires young people including myself. Every time Wimbledon is on I am thinking 'Yes, I could do the same' and get out the racket. Sadly, not the same results."
In related news, fans are hoping to see the Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge at the event together. According to a report, Markle will be making several appearances at the event to cheer on her good friend, Serena Williams. However, it remains unconfirmed if Middleton will watch the tournament.

Meanwhile, on the third day of Wimbledon, Middleton's parents were spotted at the event. Carole and Michael Middleton had a date by watching the tournament.
For the said event, Carole wore a white crisp dress with a broderie-anglaise design. The outfit was a few inches above her knees which showed off her tan legs. Carole has been attending the tournament every year with her stylish fashion. On the other hand, Michael opted for a dark navy suit.
