Kate Middleton and Princess Eugenie have attended several royal engagements together, but it is unclear if they are actually close to each other.
Karen Ruffini, a journalist for Elite Daily, said that based on the information she has gathered, she thinks that Middleton and Princess Eugenie are quite friendly towards each other.
Princess Eugenie will tie the knot with Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12, and she has invited the members of the royal family including Middleton. Ruffini claimed that this suggests Princess Eugenie and Middleton are close enough that’s why she received an invitation. However, it also important to note that everyone in the royal family was invited.
In recent months, it has been reported that Middleton may skip Princess Eugenie’s nuptials if her sister, Pippa Middleton, will give birth on the same day. Pippa went to the hospital hours after the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her three children, so it is highly likely that Prince William’s wife will return the sweet gesture.
And even though Middleton may skip the royal wedding, Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte will still be there to witness Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s union.
In fact, Jess Sheldon, a journalist for Express, is convinced that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will serve as a page boy and bridesmaid at Princess Eugenie’s wedding. This is because the royal siblings have played the role a couple of times since they were born.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte also assumed the same roles at Pippa’s wedding to James Matthews last year. And more recently, they also served as a page boy and bridesmaid at Sophie Carter’s wedding to Robert Snuggs at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk.
As of late, it is still unclear if Prince William and Middleton will also bring Prince Louis to Princess Eugenie’s wedding next week.
